Urban Science, began when Jim Anderson, the company’s founder and owner, developed computerized “dot” maps showing General Motors the location of luxury car buyers in Chicago back in 1976. As demand increased for greater knowledge of car buyers, Anderson’s company continually improved technology. By 2001, when Urban Science called upon CTS, the company was producing proprietary software that manufacturers could use to improve the efficiency of their sales channels around the world. The next step was to position Urban Science as the thought leader in their field -- repositioning the company as consultants rather than the vendors of software. The work shown here is only the “tip of the iceberg” of what we delivered.

“When I read the draft of the brochure CTS did for us, it became obvious that within a few weeks the agency had captured a clearer perspective of what we do than we had been able to express over the previous 20 years."
